Ossining Homeowners Could See a Break on Paying Property Taxes
Legislation signed by the governor allows two Westchester towns to phase-in tax payments because of reassessments.

Ossining, NY — Legislation signed by Governor Andrew Cuomo could benefit Ossining homeowners if the town board passes a local law allowing a phase-in of tax payments due to property values increasing drastically.
If the law comes to fruition, homeowners who qualify would be allowed to pay a third of their increase the first year and two-thirds the year, according to an article at lohud.com.
