Ossining, Police Agree on New Contract
Salaries will rise, and so will health insurance contributions.

Ossining Mayor Victoria Gearity announced that the village and the Ossining Police Benevolent Association have reached agreement on a new contract.
Police have been working without a contract for more than two years.
Gearity said Ossining police had been the lowest-paid village department in Westchester County. As part of the new contract, salaries have been raised significantly, she said. In turn, members of the union "will be tripling contributions to their healthcare insurance premiums."
