UPDATED: Ossining PTA, District Offer Virtual Learning Courses

The Ossining PTA has partnered with the school district and created a Virtual Learning Academy for children and parents to enjoy while schools are closed.

This VLA will allow families to try out some new skills with some local professionals and engaged individuals. These people all offered their skills and created YouTube videos for parents and children to view at their leisure.

All the programs are offered free of charge. The classes range from cooking to guitar, ballet, taekwondo and more, with additional videos to follow. To view the classes and links, visit https://docs.google.com/presen...

“We are really excited for this program and hope that it offers parents some fun things to do with their kids," said Miriam Risko, president of the Ossining PTA. "We hope that it sparks some new interest and smiles!”
