The Ossining School District has hired Quality Environmental Solutions and Technologies Inc. to test drinking water in schools for lead May 14 and 15.The company will test the water fountains, classroom sinks, kitchens, faculty rooms and various offices. After the samples are collected, the school district will provide a report with the results.The water testing is not required, but the district wants to ensure that the water is safe for students and staff members to drink.Several other Westchester County school districts have performed similar tests in light of recent reports of lead contamination in New Jersey.

Month-to-month flexible car lease company opens New York hub in Larchmont to serve surrounding communities
<a href="https://www.flexcar.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Flexcar</a>, the first and only month-to-month car lease company, today announced its expansion into New York State with the opening of its New York hub in Larchmont. The launch grows Flexcar&rsquo;s East Coast footprint and makes its flexible car leases accessible to drivers across the greater New York area.
