Ossining Students Excited to Begin Another School Year
Most children started school Tuesday; Ossining High School sophomores, juniors and seniors begin tomorrow.
Tuesday was back to school day for most of the more than 5,000 students in the Ossining School District, from pre-kindergarteners starting their education to the freshman class starting to settle in at Ossining High School. The rest of the OHS students begin school tomorrow.
"We are excited to have our children back,” Superintendent Raymond Sanchez said. “It's going to be a great year filled with many successes.”
At OHS, students picked up their schedules and made their way to the gymnasium to start orientation. They attended workshops and were treated to a barbecue lunch.
