Registration Now Open for '9/11: Serve and Remember' in Westchester
Give a little and mean a lot. Volunteer New York! organizes the annual effort, with opportunities for individuals, families and groups.

Join hundreds of local volunteers who remember the unity and compassion that was shared by the many first-responders, blood donors, and volunteers who came together after the tragic attacks on September 11, 2001.
Help Volunteer New York! shine help all of us light on the service, empathy and unity that carries us forward 15 years later.
Why Serve On 9/11? Following the September 11th terrorist attacks, Americans united in a remarkable spirit of patriotism and compassion. Given the tragedy and heroism associated with 9/11, the family members of those lost believed the best way to mark the anniversary was by remembering the innocent lives lost and joining with others in service to address local community needs, reclaiming that same spirit of unity that transpired in the wake of 9/11.
