Results In For Croton-Harmon School District Vote
This year, residents voted by absentee ballot due to the new coronavirus pandemic.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — During the new coronavirus pandemic, residents in the Croton-Harmon school district voted on a school budget, a library budget, a transportation proposition and positions on the Board of Education.
Here are the results.
Voters overwhelmingly approved the $49.4 million 2020-21 school budget. The unofficial tally:

- Yes: 1687
- No: 487
The second proposition on the ballot, for the purchase of three vehicles at an amount not to exceed $225,000, was also approved.
- Yes: 1252
- No: 885
"Your continued support of the school district at this very challenging time is greatly appreciated," said schools Superintendent Deborah O'Connell in a video message.

There were five candidates running for the Croton-Harmon Board of Education: Sarah Carrier, Neal Haber, Beth McFadden, Maria Slippen and Karen Zevin.
School district officials announced late Tuesday that the top three vote getters were:
- Sarah Carrier
- Neal Haber
- Beth McFadden
Voters also approved the Croton Free Library budget, by a vote of 1712 'yes' and and 419 'no'.
