Storm Complicates Morning Commute In The Hudson Valley

Roads are slick in Orange County; a few school districts closed or announced delays.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The massive winter storm that caused blizzards in the Plains and tornadoes in the South has caused a few problems with the Friday morning commute, mostly in western Orange County, where snow fell overnight.

511NY reported a disabled vehicle on I-684 southbound was blocking the right lane south of the Mount Kisco exit at 6:32 a.m.

Early morning crashes blocked the shoulders of NY 9D southbound approaching I-84 in Fishkill; and the Taconic State Parkway northbound south of Exit 31A - NY 301.
