Town of Ossining Names New Planning Board Chair

Now the town needs a new Zoning Board of Appeals member. Interested? The deadline to apply is Nov. 18.

OSSINING, NY — The Ossining Town Board unanimously voted to appoint Ching Wah Chin as the new Planning Board Chair for the Town of Ossining at its Oct. 25th meeting.

Chin has been a member of the Town’s Zoning Board of Appeals since 2003, and came at great recommendation from his colleagues when the role of Planning Board Chair became available following the resignation of Ingrid Richards in early September. Chin was appointed as Interim Chair Sept. 21, and after canvassing for applications, he has been appointed to complete the vacated term, which is set to expire on Dec. 31, 2018.

Chin’s appointment to the Planning Board has prompted the Town of Ossining to seek applications for a new member of the Zoning Board of Appeals to fill his unexpired term, set to expire Dec. 31, 2017.
