Tri-Party Slate Announced for Croton Village Offices
Mayor Wiegman and Trustees Levitt and Slippen will appear on Democratic, Independence & WFP Lines in November Election

Mayor Leo Wiegman and Trustees Andy Levitt and Maria Slippen, who are running as a slate for re-election to the Croton Village Board of Trustees this year, announced that they have won the support of the Working Families Party and the Independence Party.
“For the first time ever, we are happy to announce that the Democratic slate--Mayor Wiegman, Trustee Levitt, and Trustee Slippen--have all been endorsed by both the Independence Party and the Working Families Party,” said Paul Rolnick, Croton Democratic Committee Chair, in a prepared statement.
A 20-year resident, Wiegman is seeking his 4th term as Mayor having previously served as a Trustee. Leo is a consultant in the field of energy use and sustainability. and Executive Director of the non-profit Sustainable Westchester. Levitt, an attorney and commuter to NYC, is seeking his second Trustee term. He, his wife and two daughters have lived here for 7 years. Slippen is seeking re- election to her second term as Trustee. She is a 10- year Croton resident along with her husband and two daughters. Maria consults in media/communications and has been very active in school and community groups.

”I am proud to have nominated Mayor Leo Wiegman and Trustees Andy Levitt and Maria Slippen for the Working Families Party endorsement. After going door-to-door to talk with rank-and-file Working Families Party members, I am more convinced than ever that this is the slate to keep our community safe, green and affordable for working families,” said Peter Feigenbaum, Secretary of the Westchester-Putnam Working Families Party, and Croton-on-Hudson resident.
“I am excited to be part of the first three-party slate in Village history. These endorsements reflect our commitment to principle and public service and the broad-based appeal of our record and our vision,” said Levitt.
