Visiting Hours are Jan. 19 for Carol Trombetta

She was 73.

Carol Joan (Stiloski) Trombetta passed away peacefully on Jan. 16, 2015, after a long illness.

She was born on April 6, 1941 in Mt. Vernon N.Y. to Elsie (Mayer) and Frank Stiloski. She graduated from Tuckahoe High School Class of 1959 and went on to The Mandell School and became a medical assistant. She married her husband Stephen on May 19,1962 at St. Catherine’s Church in Pelham, N.Y. and moved to Ossining to raise her family.

Carol was active in her young son’s lives’ as they were growing up as a Cub Scout den mother for years and volunteered in the school library. Carol was a gourmet cook whose door was always open and she loved to teach her cooking skills to all. She was a gifted artist who painted from the heart.

Carol leaves behind her beloved husband of 52 years, Stephen, along with her four sons, Michael, Jeffrey, Stephen Jr., and Bryan, their wives, Isabel, Marie, Sarah, and Melissa and 9 grandchildren who are the lights of her life and one daughter Andrea, previously deceased.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and all whose lives she touched by just her mere presence and unselfish demeanor.

She will be reposing Mon. 2-4 &7-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Tues. 10am at St. Augustine’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation of your preference in her name would be appreciated.
