Helen M. Gugerty, of Locust Valley.

January 10, 1926 - August 09, 2015

Beloved wife of the late Leo J. Loving mother of Lee (Linda Goller), Merrill, Brian (Kathy Bartley), David (Helene), and Paul (Lisa). Cherished Nanny of Sean, Ryan, Dylan, Grace, Tighe, Anna, Jane, Emma, and Paige.

Helen served in the Army Nurse Cadet Corp during WWII. She was a longtime school nurse, working in several local schools, a volunteer at Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club, and a soup kitchen volunteer at The INN.

Family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home Inc. 293 South Street Oyster Bay, Friday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral ServiceSaturday 10 a.m.
