Patchogue FD Chief: Shovel Out Known Hydrants

If it's possible to shovel out a known fire hydrant in the Patchogue Village area, the Patchogue Fire Department would greatly appreciate it.

Patchogue Fire Department Chief Joe Perry told Patch Saturday morning that the department will also be working on this, but like everyone else they are also shoveling themselves out.

Perry advises that if a resident can do this, to not overexert themselves and stay safe.

The Department is also on standby for emergencies throughout the blizzard, and can be reached via 631-475-1225.
