Police: Homeless Man Robbed E. Patchogue CVS at Knifepoint

The robbery occurred Monday night.

A homeless man is accused of robbing the East Patchogue CVS at knifepoint Monday night.

According to police, Michael Ocasio, 25, entered the store located at 503 E. Main Street around 8:30 p.m. Monday and demanded money while threatening the use of a knife.

Ocasio fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. He was arrested at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Ocasio is charged with first degree robbery and was due to be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip Wednesday.
