Shots Fired At 2 Suffolk Homes; Getaway Car Crashes: Police

NORTH BELLPORT, NY — Shots were fired at two North Bellport homes Wednesday evening, Suffolk police said. The shots were fired on Doane Avenue around 6:30 p.m., police said.

The shooter fled northbound on Doane Avenue in a gray 2019 Toyota Camry, police said. The Toyota, a rental car, crashed several blocks away and the occupants ran off, police said.
