Village Preparing For The Coming Blizzard

Roads are brined, trucks and plows are ready, says trustee.

Patchogue Village is preparing for the possible 15 inches of snow issued in the blizzard warning issued for all of Long Island.

Village trustee Joseph Keyes told Patch that the Village's roads, trucks and plows are ready.

"We have applied brine to all of the roads in Patchogue. Trucks are ready with salt, sand and plows are fueled up ready to go," Keyes said. "We want to make sure to remind people to get their cars off the streets, they can go to municipal parking lot if they have no place to park them."
