WATCH: LI Sisters Sing Inspirational Song Amid Coronavirus
The two local girls wanted to share a message of hope during the coronavirus pandemic.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Two Long Island girls have made a video to provide some much needed inspiration during the coronavirus crisis. Katie Ann Rahl, 12, and Kami Belle Rahl, 10, recently posted a video on YouTube of the two of them singing "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne.
Parents Kathy Rahl and John Rahl said their two daughters, who attended South Ocean Middle School and River Avenue Elementary School, wanted to share a message of hope with as many people as they can.
"While being at home, self quarantined, Katie and Kami had been thinking about the impact and the toll that the coronavirus had on people so, we Googled it together on the CDC website to learn more about it," Kathy told Patch.

According to Kathy, both girls love to sing and are professionally trained singers. Katie was even the youngest second place winner of Long Island's Got Talent last October. Because of that, it was natural that they wanted to make a video to sing and inspire people to give them hope.
"They came up with their favorite artist and song that would do that," Kathy said. "Afterward, everything just came together."
