Brianna C. Kelly of Cortlandt Manor, New York, faces a felony charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
Troopers were dispatched to Locust Avenue for a reported one-car auto collision. When they arrived, they said, they located a 2000 Chrysler Sebring off the roadway. They concluded that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Kelly, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The charge against the 25-year-old became a felony when an investigation revealed that she was convicted of a DWI related offense in 2013.
Kelly was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on Dec. 21.
