80 Take the Peekskill Polar Plunge for Charity
The event raised almost its entire goal. There's still time to donate, if you want to help.

PEEKSKILL, NY — On New Year's Day, more than 80 brave people jumped into the Hudson River from the Peekskill Riverfront watched by hundreds of community members.
The Polar Plunge raised $16,000 which will go towards scholarships for local students who face adversity and nationally for students with alopecia — an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss.
"We thank you for supporting this event and helping us spread the word," said Lauren and Cait Brady.
