Buchanan Moves Affordable Senior Housing Along by 1 Vote

Many in the village opposed the project because of who might move in.

Columnist David McKay Wilson reported that the village trustees voted 3-2 to change the zoning of a parcel near Indian Point -- something the Planning Board had recommended.

The units will count toward Westchester County's affordable housing goal under its uneasy settlement with the U.S. Justice Department.
