In January 2012, the center moved to its new location on the fourth floor of the St. Francis Hospital Medical Arts Pavilion in Poughkeepsie, New York, providing students with a state-of-the-art educational environment.
The Hudson Valley Center includes:
- Four technology-enhanced classrooms, fostering opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology
- A computer lab equipped with state-of-the-art computers and software
- An expanded library with a large healthcare- and nursing-specific section
- Free indoor parking in the St. Francis parking garage.
The faculty and administration are dedicated to providing individualized attention for students with different goals—those who are seeking to advance their careers, changing careers or returning to the workforce after raising a family. In this supportive environment, they guide and prepare students for direct, contemporary practice.
