Mobile App Notes Cortlandt Historical, Recreation Sites
The audio tour is a way to learn more about the town as you're driving around.
CORTLANDT, NY — Town officials have added recreational facilities to the Otocast app featuring information about the town's most interesting locations.
Phase I, introduced last year, was for historical sites. Now the app also includes info on the new lacrosse field; the town pool, playgrounds and parks; the Senior Center; Youth Center; the Cortlandt Community Rowing Association dock and more.
"Please join us in touring the town through this exciting app," said Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi. "Look for the App symbols."

Since then more Otocast guides have been created in the Hudson Valley and across the country.

For example, the one in White Plains shows the Art in Vacant Spaces program, in which the White Plains BID and art students from SUNY Purchase created site-specific works in vacant office spaces.
