Renowned Vocalist, Maria Muldaur, at The Paramount Hudson Valley

Tired of the cold? Come inside and enjoy a warm, entertainment-filled night with Maria Muldaur at The Paramount this Friday. Known for her 1974 international hit, Midnight at The Oasis, Maria has now recorded an astonishing 40 albums of beautiful vocal melodies and rhythms over a decorated 50-year career.

Maria first gained her street credit in the blues music business during the flourishing 1960’s Greenwich music scene when Bob Dylan was keeping the folk revival alive and keeping the earth from imploding. After 40 albums and 6 Grammy nominations, her street credit is now through the roof, some might even say she is a blues vocal legend. But Maria would never say that, she refers to her style as a unique blend, which she calls it ‘Bluasiana Music’ because of the blues, folk and other Americana rhythms she mixes in with her sweet pipes. Maria has collaborated with the likes of Jerry Garcia of Grateful Dead, Bonnie Riatt, Bavid Bromberg, Joan Baez and numerous other legendary American artists.

Needless to say you don’t want to miss this blues, folk, Americana, ‘Bluesania’ music legend comes back home to the lower Hudson Valley. This intimate night filled with Maria’s sweet pipes, unresolved blues rhythm and the beautiful Paramount Hudson Valley venue is guaranteed to get you moving and grooving up and down the isles.
