Man Accused of Burglarizing Bethpage Business

Police responded to a report of an unknown man inside the closed store Friday afternoon.

A 52-year-old man was charged with burglary after police said he was found inside a closed Bethpage business holding stolen items Friday afternoon.

Police say they responded to a report of a burglary in progress at Bethpage Virtual Golf, located at 262 Broadway, and were told someone was inside the closed store without permission at 1:50 p.m.

An investigation led to the arrest of Felix Donald, of unknown address, without incident. Police say Donald was holding the store's computer hard drive and camera at the time of his arrest.

Donald was charged with third degree robbery and will be arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
