Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Hicksville
The man was walking in a residential area when the incident occurred Monday night, police said.

Police are looking to identify two men who robbed a 27-year-old man at gunpoint while he was walking in a residential Hicksville area Monday night.
According to authorities, the man was walking northbound on Gardner Avenue, near the corner of Dakota Street, when he was approached from behind by a man who displayed a silver handgun and demanded money at 10:15 p.m.
A second robber appeared and stood next to the man as he knelt on the ground and placed down his wallet and cell phone.

The first robber took the phone and removed cash from the wallet before returning the wallet to the man.
The two robbers fled southbound on Gardner Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone.

Police described the two robbers as black, between 20-25 years old and dressed in dark clothing.
No injuries were reported.
