Plainview-Old Bethpage High School Students Named Commended Scholars

17 students placed among top 5 percent for PSAT score.

Seventeen of Plainview-Old Bethpage School District’s John F. Kennedy High School students were recognized as Commended Scholars for scoring among the top-five percent of more than 1.5 million students who took the nationwide Preliminary Student Aptitude Test (PSAT). The students are 17 of approximately 34,000 students recognized throughout the nation for their exceptional academic promise. As participants of the 2015 National Merit Scholarship program, the students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success.
