Two people found dead in Hempstead Saturday morning, police say.

The Nassau County Police Department’s Homicide Squad is investigating the deaths of two people in Hempstead on Saturday.
According to detectives, Jordan Lopez Juarez and Arliny Velasquez, both of Hempstead and both 22 years of age, were found sitting inside a running 1999 Toyota 4Runner on Elm Avenue at 7:45 a.m. Saturday.
Juarez and Velasquez, who were last seen by relatives in the vehicle listening to music at 1:40 a.m., were pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy by the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office, but police said there appears to be no criminality at this time.
