Police Offering $5,000 Reward on Information on Man Who Robbed Nassau 7-Eleven, Slashed Employee

The robbery occurred on Sunday morning.

Police announced that they will be offering a $5,000 reward for information on a masked man who robbed a Nassau 7-Eleven at knifepoint and sent an employee to the hospital last weekend.

The man was caught on surveillance camera entering the store on 758 Old Bethpage Road in Old Bethpage on Sunday at about 2:20 a.m.

While in the store the man forcibly grabbed the employee, placed a long serrated knife up against his neck, and demand money from the cash registers, police said.

After the employee complied with the robber's demands, the man then slashed the employee’s arms causing multiple lacerations, muscle tissue damage and blood loss, police said.

The man then fled the scene northbound on Old Bethpage Road, headed in an unknown direction.
