Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Ladder Reportedly Falls Off Truck on Route 9A

Sunday, April 1
4:50 a.m. — The contacted Briarcliff Manor police headquarters and reported they had received a report of a dispute in a vehicle on Farm Road. Police responded to the scene, but found the car had moved to Maple Place, in the Town of Ossining. The report was then forwarded to the Westchester County Department of Public Safety's .

Friday, March 30
11:29 p.m. — Damaged mailboxes were reported on Hawthorne Place.

9:02 p.m. — A Deertree Lane resident called police to report a neighbor who was sitting in a running car in a garage. The homeowner told police he was talking on the phone in his car, but the garage door was open.
Thursday, March 29
5:52 p.m. — A North State Road resident called police and reported solicitors in the area, as well as someone selling Girl Scout cookies.
9:58 a.m. — A caller reported witnessing a ladder fall off a pickup truck that was driving southbound on Route 9A. Police responded to the scene but were unable to locate the ladder or truck.
Wednesday, March 28
8:53 a.m. — The responded to Willow Drive, where a resident reported a smell of gas in the area.
Monday, March 26
11:46 a.m. — A Ridgecrest Road resident reported while the home was under construction, an unknown person had cut data and phone lines. No other damage was reported.
