Letter to the Editor: Levenberg for Ossining Town Supervisor

The writer is a Briarcliff Manor resident.

To the Editor:

Dana Levenberg and I first met when our children took TaeKwondo at UMAC, and then we followed them and trained for our black belts too. I was impressed with Dana’s indomitable spirit, and willingness to spar with someone almost twice her height (me) without running away or being intimidated. Next, I would bump into Dana regularly on the High School track where she could often be found actively running laps.

I discovered she was on the Board of Education, which gave me additional reason to admire her energy and spirit. I was even more impressed when I was looking for local causes to participate in and found, to my surprise, that she was a co-founder of the Ossining Micro Fund. I called her up to learn more and quickly added the Micro Fund to my list of donation recipients as I was confident that with Dana at the helm, my donation would be put to good use.

When I learned that Dana was running for Town Supervisor, I was one of her first and most enthusiastic supporters. Dana has given so much already to our community through the schools, the Micro Fund, and everything else she has worked on. I know she is in it for all the right reasons and that she will continue to put her energy, focus and indomitable spirit to work to make the Town of Ossining and all in it prosper, succeed, and move forward positively. I encourage all who want the best for our communities to vote for Dana Levenberg for Town Supervisor next Tuesday, November 3rd.

Sincerely,
