A man was transported to Westchester Medical Center this afternoon after he was involved in an accident in Briarcliff Manor. The motorcyclist collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Pleasantville Road and Central Drive at approximately 1:45 p.m., reported. Both the car and motorcycle involved sustained minor damage in the crash. Police did not specify the nature of the injuries the motorcyclist sustained, however they described the accident as "minor." From uncovering hidden flagstone paths, to raking leaves and planting annuals. We've participated in every I Love My Parks Day with Parks &amp; Trails NY and NY State Parks since 2012! Partner groups have included the Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, Yale Alumni, Con Edison, Rye Neck School, Mamaroneck School, Stanford Alumni, the Rye Garden Club, Rye Sustainability Committee and many more.&nbsp;

Join Indigo Goodson-Fields on a bird outing through the Jay Estate's newly designated New York State Birding Trail! Binoculars are not needed but if you have a pair, bring them (there will be a limited amount of shared binoculars available). All ages and experience levels are welcome. 
Indigo Goodson-Fields is a writer, poet, and birder based in Brooklyn. Her forthcoming book, entitled Essential Birding is an anthology about the importance of birding in the lives of Black birders across the U.S. and will be published by OR Books in fall 2026.
