North East Westchester Special Recreation Held Oktoberfest Celebration

This year's Oktoberfest Celebration raised $45,000 for North East Westchester Special Recreation to continue its mission

North East Westchester Special Recreation, Inc. held their Oktoberfest Celebration on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Mount Kisco Country Club in Mount Kisco, NY. Approximately 100 people were in attendance in support of North East Westchester Special Recreation, Inc. and their mission to provide community-based therapeutic recreation programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.

“I would like to thank everyone who attended our Oktoberfest Celebration as we celebrated our organization for its continued work in providing confidence building experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities,” said Ellie Arnemann, Executive Director of North East Westchester Special Recreation, Inc. “This event would not be possible without our wonderful supporters who believe in our mission and the work we do each day in providing community-based therapeutic recreation programs to enhance the lives for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.”

Attendees enjoyed an evening that included fabulous food and drinks, a beer station, exciting silent auction items, a photo booth, and a DJ. This year’s Oktoberfest Celebration raised $45,000, which will allow North East Westchester Special Recreation, Inc. to continue its work.
