Pace Hosts Spring Reception to Celebrate New Collaborative Program with Teatown
New program brings Pace students into the heart of Teatown's 1,000-acre nature preserve for important hands-on fieldwork study.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY (April 23, 2017) - Pace University recently hosted a spring reception to celebrate a new collaborative program between Pace’s Dyson College Institute for Sustainability and the Environment (DCISE) and Teatown. The new program brings Pace students into the heart of Teatown’s 1,000-acre nature preserve for important hands-on fieldwork study. More than 30 people attended the event held April 23 at Pace’s new Dyson College Nature Center. Among those who spoke during the program were, from left, Kevin Carter, executive director, Teatown; Amy Karpati, director of science and programs, Teatown; Melanie DuPuis, chair, Environmental Studies and Science, Pace University; and Rich Schlesinger, senior associate dean and director of DCISE, Pace University.
