Pace University Men’s Lacrosse Player Named USILA All-American
Daniel Lewis named a preseason Second Team All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – A week after earning the same distinction from Inside Lacrosse Magazine, senior Daniel Lewis (Bohemia, N.Y./Connetquot) of Pace University men's lacrosse team has been named a preseason Second Team All-American by the USILA.
Lewis was sensational during the 2019 season, being named to both the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team and USILA All-America Honorable Mention.
The Long Island native started all 17 games for the Setters' defense in 2019, leading the team with 38 caused turnovers. He also added 52 ground balls, picking up at least one in all but one contest.

All in all, Lewis has been a mainstay on Pace's backline during his career. He has appeared in all 47 of the Setters' games across the last three seasons, standing with career totals of 87 caused turnovers and 135 ground balls.

Pace University is an NCAA Division II member of the Northeast-10 Conference that sponsors 14 intercollegiate sports, along with cheer and dance teams and a Pep Band. In 2018-19, Pace student-athletes posted a cumulative grade-point average of 3.26.
