Pleasantville Police Blotter: Cigarettes Taken from Vehicle; Apartment Burglarized

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the  from March 26 — April 1, 2012:

Sunday, April 1

2:35 a.m. — A patrol officer reported witnessing a possible burglary at a Broadway apartment complex. Read more .

3:19 p.m. — A Rebecca Lane resident came into police headquarters and reported sometime between March 30 and April 1 someone had entered her car, as well as her husband's, as they were parked in their home's driveway.

1:26 p.m. — A Delaware woman came into police headquarters and stated someone entered her vehicle and stole a carton of cigarettes.

Thursday, March 29

3:58 p.m. — A Tudor Court resident came into police headquarters to report an alleged harassment. The woman said her ex-husband's wife had called her the night before and demanded to speak with her. She said the woman told her 7-year-old daughter to put her mother on the phone "now or never." The complainant said when she refused to speak with her ex-husband's wife, she showed up at her home and "aggressively banged on the front door and demanded to speak with her." She said her daughter was frightened by the incident and she was concerned for her own safety. The incident was reported for the record.

Monday, March 27

10:44 p.m. — Police executed an arrest warrant at Westchester County jail, arresting a 46-year-old Pleasantville woman. She was arraigned at 11:50 p.m. in Pleasantville and was due back in court on Tuesday, where she faces an aggravated harassment charge. She is also charged with violating a conditional discharge.

6:05 p.m. — Police received a 911 call from a Hobby Street resident reporting a burglary. Read more .
