Pleasantville Police Blotter: Graffiti on Sunnyside Avenue Bridge; Misplaced UPS Package

Sunday, Dec. 12

2:20 a.m. – A loud group was reported behind Michael's Tavern on Bedford Road. The group dispersed without further incident.

Saturday, Dec. 11

3:38 p.m. – A male was reported to be requesting money at a Bedford Road business. A report of the fradulent incident was filed. The investigation continues.

3:21 p.m. – A minor automobile accident was reported in a parking lot on Marble Avenue. There was some property damage and no injuries reported. A report of the incident was filed.

Friday, Dec. 10

2:02 p.m. – The Pleasantville Fire Department and Police Department responded to Sarles Lane, where they found there was an oil burner malfunction. The situation was corrected.

9:10 a.m. – A party came into police headquarters and filed a report for larceny. The case is under investigation.

Thursday, Dec. 9

8:30 p.m. – An automobile accident involving two vehicles was reported on Manville Road. There were no injuries reported and only minor damage to the vehicles.

3:48 p.m. – An automobile accident involving one vehicle was reported on Manville Road. There was some minor property damage, but no injuries. A report of the incident was filed.

12:45 p.m. – A suspicious male was reported on Samson Drive. When questioned, he told police he was a repairman and was in the wrong location.

Wednesday, Dec. 8

9:48 p.m. – A hazardous condition was reported on Washington Avenue. Con Edison responded to the scene to correct a power outage. Power was restored shortly after.

8:36 p.m. – Fire and police units responded to a Washington Avenue address where they found a carbon monoxide detector had been activated. No injuries were reported.

Tuesday, Dec. 7

9:57 a.m. – A larceny was reported on Pleasantville Road. Police discovered the item in question was a UPS package that had been misplaced. The situation was corrected.

Monday, Dec. 6

9:30 a.m. – Graffiti was reported on the Sunnyside Avenue Bridge. A report of the incident was filed.
