Pleasantville Police Blotter: Fight Results in Facial Injuries and an Arrest; Car Break-Ins

Sunday, Feb. 6

6:35 p.m. — A Pleasantville man called police to report a suspicious vehicle on Leland Avenue near the intersection of Willis Place. Responding officers spoke to a male and female in the car in question, who stated they were just talking and would move along. A report of the incident was filed.

4:32 a.m. — While on routine patrol, a police officer reported a car parked on Parkway Terrace had a broken rear windshield. The officer reported the damage appeared to have been caused by a fallen tree limb. The vehicle's owner was notified of the incident, which was recorded for the record and for insurance purposes.

Saturday, Feb. 5

11:54 p.m. — A White Plains woman called police and stated her vehicle was struck by another car while she was stopped on Stanley Street. The woman's vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear passenger's side fender. The other vehicle sustained a scratch on the rear passenger's side door. The drivers exchanged information and a report of the incident was filed.

Friday, Feb. 4

10:22 a.m. — A Pleasantville woman called police to report an unknown person had entered her unlocked vehicle on Manville Lane overnight. A report of the incident was filed.

10:05 a.m. — A Pleasantville man called police and stated an unknown person had entered his unlocked vehicle on Foxwood Drive. A report of the incident was filed.

9:38 a.m. — A Chappaqua man called police to report a fight in progress on Hobby Street. Police arrested a 29-year-old Yorktown woman and transported her to headquarters for processing. The and a medic also responded to the scene where they transported another female to the Phelps Memorial Hospital to be treated for facial injuries.

Thursday, Feb. 3

5:56 p.m. — A Pleasantville man called police to report an erratic driver at the intersection of Manville and Pleasantville Roads. The man stated the operator was driving off the roadway and into multiple snow banks. Police canvassed the area with negative results.

3:14 p.m. — A Chappaqua man called police to report an automobile accident on Sutton Place involving two vehicles. A report of the incident was files.

Wednesday, Feb. 2

5:22 p.m. — An anonymous caller said youths were jumping off a roof onto snow banks at Memorial Plaza, behind the Post Office. Police officers dispersed the group.

5:05 p.m. — A Pleasantville woman called police to report youths were throwing snowballs at house windows on Greenmeadow Road. Police interviewed three of the youths and dispersed the group.

Tuesday, Feb. 1

5:07 p.m. — A Pleasantville man called police to report youths throwing snowballs at motorists on Ashland Avenue. The youths were gone once police arrived at the scene.

Monday, Jan. 31

7:11 p.m. — A Pleasantville woman called police to report a carbon monoxide detector had been activated at a Manville Road apartment. The was dispatched to the scene.
