Pleasantville Police Blotter: Irate Patient Shatters Door; Stolen Stove

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from Sept. 24 — 30, 2012:

Sunday, Sept. 30

10:30 p.m. — Police arrested a 21-year-old Boyertown, PA, man for allegedly driving while his ability was impaired by alcohol.

12:16 p.m. — A Weskora Avenue resident called police and reported that sometime while his car was parked in front of his home, the rear window was broken.

9:10 a.m. — A Sutton Place resident reported his residence's fence was damaged.

Friday, Sept. 28

10:30 a.m. — A 59-year-old Hopewell Junction man turned himself into police on an outstanding warrant for alleged larceny.

9:38 a.m. — A North Star Medical Group employee called police and reported a patient had broken the office's front door. She told police the patient said he was tired of waiting and as he left the building, he shattered the front door. The employee said she did not want to press criminal charges, but would pursue the incident as a civil matter.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

8:50 a.m. — A Washington Avenue resident called police and reported her home had been burglarized sometime in the past. She said her 2008 Harman Pellet Stove, valued at $4,238, was missing. A detective was notified and police filed a report.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

11:25 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle belonging to a Peekskill-based construction company on Bedford Road. Officers arrested the driver, a 32-year-old Peekskill man, for allegedly driving a vehicle that does not have insurance in effect. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
