Pleasantville Police Blotter: Shoplifting Arrest; Screen Door Vandalized

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from Sept. 17 — 23, 2012:
Sunday, Sept. 23
9:15 a.m. — A resident went into police headquarters and stated a White Plains resident had violated her order of protection by contacting him three times recently.

Saturday, Sept. 22
8:35 p.m. — Police reported arresting two men for alleged cocaine possession. Read more here.

Friday, Sept. 21
10:56 p.m. — A Patterson resident went into police headquarters and reported someone had taken a bottle of prescription Hydrocodone from his vehicle, containing about 16 items. The incident was reported for the record.
2:56 p.m. — Police were notified through official channels that a 20-year-old woman wanted by Pleasantville Police was at the Westchester County jail. She was transported to the village for processing.
12:43 p.m. — A woman called police and reported that a check from a Manville Road business had been cashed by someone other than its intended recipient. The recipient, a man, said he never signed the check and he suspected someone forged his name on the check. Citi Bank was contacted and confirmed the check was cashed, but employees would not confirm which branch it was checked in.
11:36 a.m. — A New Street resident went into police headquarters and she her home's fence had been damaged the day prior. She noted observing a neighbor's vehicle hit the fence. Police said they would attempt to contact the vehicle's owner.
Thursday, Sept. 20
10:50 p.m. — Police reported arresting a 21-year-old Elmsford man for allegedly driving with a suspended driver's license on Bedford Road. His vehicle was towed.
6:38 a.m. — A Pleasantvile Road resident called to report the stick-on house number sticker from her mailbox had been removed sometime overnight. She also reported finding a Starbucks cup inside the mailbox.
Wednesday, Sept. 19
7:25 p.m. — A Hopper Street resident called police and stated his screen door had just been ripped off by a neighbor. Police went to the suspect's home and reported they believed he was home, but not answering the door. The man said he did not want to press charges and the incident was reported for the record.
6:29 p.m. — A resident went into police headquarters and reported receiving unwanted calls and text messages from an ex-boyfriend following a recent break-up. Police recorded the incident for the record.
Tuesday, Sept. 18
2:09 p.m. — Police reported arresting a 41-year-old village resident for allegedly shoplifting at Key Food Marketplace.
11:29 p.m. — Police received a 911 call hang-up that led them to investigate an alleged domestic dispute at a Center Street address. Police ultimately arrested a 37-year-old resident for allegedly engaging in a dispute with a female resident.
Monday, Sept. 17
11:15 p.m. — Police responded to the scene of a family dispute at a Meadow Lane address, where a man reportedly became aggressive toward police. No charges were filed.
