Pleasantville Police Blotter: Unruly Bar Patron; Car Larcenies

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the  from April 2 — 8, 2012:

Sunday, April 8

3:44 a.m. — A Hopper Street woman reported a loud party occurring on the street and people playing loud music in their cars. Police responded to the scene and corrected the situation.

12:57 a.m. — Police received a 911 call from employee, who said the bar was having trouble getting an unruly man to leave. Police who responded to the scene said the man left without incident prior to their arrival.

Friday, April 6

3:50 p.m. — A Lincoln Avenue resident reported there was an unattended van parked with its engine running on the corner of Pine Street. Police responded to the scene, made contact with the owner and corrected the situation.

Thursday, April 5

5:39 p.m. — A Lisa Place resident called police and reported that while she was walking her dog on April 3, one of her neighbor's dogs attacked her dog on Hillview Drive. She stated she took her dog to the veterinarian, who said her dog was bruised and prescribed medication. She added she spoke with her neighbor who agreed to pay the vet bills, but filed a police report on the advice of the veterinarian. 

Wednesday, April 4

4:05 p.m. — A resident came into headquarters and turned in cash he found in the village the previous day.

Monday, April 2

3:19 p.m. — A Rebecca Lane resident reported to police that sometime between 8:30 p.m. on March 31 and 9:30 a.m. on April 1, someone had broken into her vehicle, as well as her husband's, while the cars were parked in the home's driveway.

11:15 a.m. — A Cooley Street resident came into police headquarters and reported he had engaged in a dispute with a man he did not know who was walking his dog on his front lawn. The complainant told police the dog walker became argumentative when confronted. The incident was recorded for the record.
