Pleasantville Police Blotter: Wallet Stolen at Restaurant; Window Screen Cut

Saturday, April 21

9:43 p.m. — Police reported dispersing a group of youths hanging out in a Bedford Road parking lot.

Friday, April 20

2:21 p.m. — A loose dog was reportedly seen on Clinton Street. Police reported it was gone once they arrived at the scene.

1:59 p.m. — A patron was asked to leave . Police reported the party left without further incident.

Thursday, April 19

9:13 p.m. — Police responded to Lake Street, where a resident had complained about noise. Responding officers reported there were youths hanging out playing loud music in the area. The situation was corrected.

Wednesday, April 18

1:56 p.m. — A resident reported a suspicious truck had been parked on Grandview Avenue for two days. Police confirmed the truck belongs to the MTA, which was doing work in the area.

Tuesday, April 17

7:57 p.m. — A Meadow Lane man reported the driver's side fender of his vehicle had been damaged while it was parked in front of his residence. The man said he had witnessed an accident involving two vehicles in front of his home at approximately 3:30 p.m., but did not know if that is how his car was damaged.

11:27 a.m. — A raccoon was reportedly spotted by a Saratoga Avenue resident. Police were unable to locate the animal.

Monday, April 16

5:43 p.m. — A Manville Road woman called police and reported the screen of her kitchen window appeared to have been cut. She also reported her 19-year-old son had been receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown person. Photos of the window's damage were taken by police and a report was filed.

3:28 p.m. — A wallet was reported stolen from a Pleasantville restaurant. The alleged larceny is under investigation.

12:40 p.m. — Police were notified of electrical wires burning on Lake Street. The was dispatched to the scene.
