Updated: Pleasantville Teen Falls from Train Station Roof
Police say he was playing around at Memorial Plaza and fell down into the track area.

A Pleasantville teenager has been hospitalized after he took a nasty fall from the Metro North station's roof down to the platform and tracks this afternoon, Love said.
The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. after he was "playing around" near the station and climbed the station roof, according to police.

Police said the teenager fell from the roof as he was trying to climb down.
Love said the boy's friends took a photo of him with a cell phone that was handed over to police.

Emergency responders notified the MTA about the incident and took the 16-year-old resident to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.
While his internal injuries could not be assessed at the scene, police said the teen was conscious before he was taken to the hospital and his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
