Sleepy Hollow Road Area in Briarcliff Without Power

Several hundred residents are without power this morning, according to the .

"Apparently it is still ongoing," said Officer Tom Farrington. "The Sleepy Hollow Road area and all of the side streets off Sleepy Hollow Road are infected."

The area includes the Rosecliff development, which has approximately 500 residents.

Farrington said there is "still no word on what caused [the outage]," though one caller said Con Edison reported power should be restored by about 1 p.m. this afternoon.

Police said there have been no fires or other hazards reported in relation to the outage.
