Three BHS Artists Featured Regional High School Art Show
12th annual OSilas Gallery exhibition of artwork created by talented students from public and private high schools throughout the region
Throughout the month of January, Briarcliff students Daniel Deng, Farhaanah Mohideen, and Anna Albert (l-r) have had their artwork – portraits done in oil paint - displayed at the OSilas Gallery as part of Concordia College’s StArt Regional High School Art Exhibit.
This year, 91 artists from 31 regional public and private high schools across Westchester, Fairfield, Rockland and Orange Counties and the Bronx were invited to display their work. This artwork on display at this 12th annual exhibit ranged from paintings to ceramics to metalwork to photography.
“The pieces created by our students is evidence of the creative learning that takes place at Briarcliff High School,” art teacher Roxanne Ritacco said. “The opportunity to share their work at OSilas allows them to demonstrate their unique perspectives alongside their peers.”
