Woman Bitten by Raccoon in Valhalla

A woman was reportedly bitten by a raccoon in the Valhalla commuter lot Tuesday evening.

According to an alert from the Town of Mount Pleasant, the incident was reported at approximately 7 p.m.

Further details were not immediately available from the Mount Pleasant Police Department.

Officials are warning all residents to "use caution and keep distance from any wild animals."
