Former Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla Wins His Old Job Back
The Democrat defeated Republican challenger Gene Ceccarelli

Former Mayor Dennis Pilla Wednesday night defeated his opponent Gene Ceccarelli to win back his old job, according to an unofficial vote tally by News 12 Westchester.
Less than 100 votes separated the two, with Democrat Pilla garnering 1,213 votes, or 52 percent, to Republican Ceccarelli’s 1,115, or 48 percent.
Current Mayor Neil Pagano did not seek re-election.

Pilla, who also appeared on the No Municipal Center party line, ran on a platform opposing a planned new municipal facility, which Ceccarelli, a Board of Trustee member, supported.
