From Polenta to Gnocchi: March Cooking Classes at Tarry Market

Next month's class line-up includes new offerings for kids.

Wednesday March 7 – Understanding Polenta

Adults with wine pairing - 11:30 – 1:30

Friday March 9 – Meatball and Spaghetti Dinner

Elementary School Kids – 4:00 – 6:00

This is one of the most requested dishes by kids. We’ll be making meatballs from scratch, along with an easy marinara sauce to top our spaghetti. Along with our main course we will create a vegetable side dish and healthy dessert to make a whole meal.

Wednesday March 14 – St. Patty’s Day Italian-style

Adults with wine pairing – 11:30 – 1:30

We will explores several traditional Irish dishes for your St. Patty’s day celebration and put an Italian twist on them!

Sunday March 18 – Understanding Polenta

Wednesday March 21 – Spring is in the Air

Adults with wine pairing – 11:30 – 1:30

Spring has arrived! Time to shake off the winter blues and explore some fabulous new ingredients. We will create a 3-course spring inspired menu that includes a light soup, main course and dessert, using seasonal ingredients to celebrate the vernal equinox.

Friday March 23 – Gnocchi and Gnudis

Elementary School Kids – 4:00 – 6:00

Do “gnu” know the difference between them? We’ll figure that out and have lots of fun in the process. Along with our gnocchi and gnudi creations we will make two easy sauces, a side dish and dessert, for a complete meal.

Saturday March 24 – Meatball and Spaghetti Dinner

Middle School Kids – 11:30 – 1:30

This is one of the most requested dishes by kids. We’ll be making meatballs from scratch, along with an easy marinara sauce to top our spaghetti. Along with our main course we will create an appetizer, vegetable side dish and healthy dessert to make a whole meal.

Wednesday March 28 – Keeping it Light

Adults with wine pairing – 11:30 – 1:30

Spring is here and the warmer weather has us shedding our heavy coat and hearty foods. In this class we will create several light recipes that will fill you up but won’t weigh you down using seasonal ingredients and interesting grains.

Saturday March 31 – Ravioli Dinner

Middle School Kids – 11:30 – 1:30

Who doesn’t like a ravioli? With so many fillings to choose from, the possibilities are endless. In this class we will make from scratch 3 different fillings and using fresh pasta sheets from the Market create our own raviolis. To round out our meal we will also create a side dish and dessert.
