Funeral Set For Teen Killed After Falling Down Elevator Shaft
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family pay for burial expenses.
PORT CHESTER, NY — Funeral arrangements have been set for the 14-year-old Port Chester boy who died Tuesday after falling down an elevator shaft at the abandoned United Hospital building. A wake for Chris Aguilar will be held at the Don Bosco Community Center from 11 a.m. Monday until a 7:30 p.m. funeral Mass is held, lohud.com said.
Frank Barchella for whom Aguilar’s father worked, set up a GoFundMe page to help offset funeral expenses, lohud.com said.
“Needless to say, his family is faced with the reality of the absorbent cost involved to lay Chris to rest,” Barchella wrote. “Hopefully we can come together to help defray the cost by contributing.”
