The New Sat - Free Seminar at Arch Street Greenwich Teen Center

"The New Sat and What It Means For You" - April 7 at 10am and 7pm

Greenwich Education Group and Arch Street Greenwich Teen Center sponsoring seminar for parents of High School Students

On March 5, 2014, the College Board, the designers and administrators of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), announced a complete re-working of the ubiquitous college admissions exam. Every portion of the exam has changed including its approach to vocabulary, math and science. The new exam will first be utilized in the spring of 2016.

In response, Greenwich Education Group in partnership with Arch Street Teen Center of Greenwich, will hold a seminar for parents entitled, “The New SAT and What It Means For You,” on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Arch Street Greenwich Teen Center, 100 Arch Street, Greenwich, Conn. Arch Street is a drug and alcohol free center offering programs for 6th through 12th graders, as well as special speaker events for the parent community of Greenwich.

“The new SAT is a complete and fundamental re-thinking of the focus and content of the exams and it is based upon the Common Core curriculum standards,” stated Kate Guthrie, Director of Academic Services for Greenwich Education Group. “With many schools not having completed the roll-out of the standards, students will face an increased need for assistance in prepping for the exam.”
