Port Chester Police Search Leads to Arrest, Seizure of Stolen Handgun and Drugs
"This arrest resulted in the 20th illegal handgun recovered by Port Chester Police to date this year," said Police Chief Richard Conway.

Port Chester Police arrested a 32-year-old Stamford man Wednesday on illegal weapons and drug possession charges after detectives searched a Weber Drive home where the man was staying.
Frank Maxwell was charged with ”Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree (C felony) Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree (D felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th degree (both misdemeanors),” according to Police Chief Richard Conway.
Police executed a search warrant at the home and found a loaded .45-caliber handgun, which police discovered had been reported stolen in Virginia, and small quantities of cocaine and marijuana.

“This arrest resulted in the 20th illegal handgun recovered by Port Chester Police to date this year,” said Conway in a statement, adding that the Westchester County Police Narcotics Unit also was involved in the investigation.
